What are Live Portraits?
Live Portraits is a boutique creative service where an artist creates one‑of‑a‑kind illustrations of your event’s guests onsite and live, capturing their likenesses in a distinctive style. Guests get the rare chance to watch a piece of fine art unfold before their eyes and leave the special gathering with a one-of-a-kind party favour.
My own illustrative art style, influenced by East Asian comics and traditional Western portraiture, captures likenesses through an affectionate lens that flatters and charms with just a touch of whimsy.

How it Works
Step #1: Booking Process
Once your inquiry is submitted, you’ll be invited to secure your date with a non-refundable 25% booking fee, ensuring your celebration is reserved. Once the Service Agreement has been reviewed and signed, a virtual consultation will be scheduled with Nanaki to discuss your event details.
Step #2: Final Confirmation and Payment
Within a month of your event, Nanaki will follow up to confirm all booking details. The remaining 75% balance will be due two weeks before your event date.
Step #3: Live Portraits
On the day of your event, Nanaki will arrive a little before the requested booking time to set up her art station. As guests stop by to have their portraits done, Nanaki will take reference photos so that they may continue to enjoy the event while she creates their portraits.
Every portrait is painted with premium watercolours and ink on heavyweight paper. Once complete, each piece is carefully packaged in a protective sleeve and displayed for guests to pick up during or after the event.
